Let's face it - producing a concert takes experience and by now you realize that there are two parts that add up to the cost of a show:
1. Talent Fee + 2. Rider Requirements = Cost Of Show
What is a rider? A rider is an integral part of the legally binding agreement, in addition to the Contract, containing all of the necessary ingredients needed for a successful show. Items include exact details of Artists' flights, ground transportation, hotel rooms, insurance needs, backline, hospitality, production, stage plot etc. (also known as Rider or Production Rider)

ulfilling the requirements of a concert rider can be a surprisingly expensive journey. However, all riders are not created equal we have experienced 1 page riders up to 55 or more pages, depending on the show. Some riders are used for stadiums and arenas, and others are used for private dates and smaller affairs. Many times you will find an Artist's rider will be a boiler plate - one size fits all document.
We have spent our lives producing concerts and know that it takes experience and an educated balance to provide the right tools for the Artist to perform, as well as avoiding the excesses that are not needed. You can of course try this yourself and gain experience from your own school of hard rocks. Or if you want to save time and money - you can use our lifetime of experience at theriderreader.com The choice is yours - and either way - here's to a stress free event with no surprises on the day of your show!
